Born in 1967, Hakan Göral is a graduate of Boğaziçi University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. He completed his master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Marmara University and further strengthened his academic background by participating in advanced management programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Stanford University.

He began his professional career in 1990 at Koç Holding, where he worked for 12 years. Following this, he held a senior management position for four years at Mako, a joint venture with the Italian company Magneti Marelli. He then served for six years as President-CEO responsible for Turkish operations and as a member of the international management team at Componenta, a North European automotive supplier group. Afterwards, he worked for four years as Group CEO at İnci Holding, responsible for all group companies, and subsequently spent ten years at Tekfen Holding, the last three of which were as Group CEO.

In these holding portfolios, encompassing numerous sectors including automotive, logistics, agriculture, construction, and energy, he led significant projects in corporate governance, strategic transformation, mergers and acquisitions integration, and digital transformation.

Hakan Göral has played an active role in the restructuring and M&A processes at Componenta, İnci Holding, and Tekfen Holding, making significant contributions to the creation and implementation of new growth axes. Throughout his career, he has served as chairman of the board, board member, and on board committees in numerous companies, possessing strong corporate governance experience across diverse disciplines and corporate cultures.
