Ismail Doğan was born in 1968 in Biga, Çanakkale. He is a graduate of Biga Industrial Vocational High School.

He previously served as Production Manager and Factory Manager at Doğanlar Furniture Group Manufacturing Industry and Trade Inc.

Between 2004 and 2012, he held the position of General Manager at the same company.

From 2016 to 2017, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Furniture Industrialists Association (MOSDER).

Between June 2020 and April 2023, he served as the CEO of Doğanlar Furniture Group Manufacturing Industry and Trade Inc.

Today, Ismail Doğan is a Member of the Board of Directors at Doğanlar Holding, and Chairman of the Board of Doğanlar Furniture Group, Doğyap Construction, and D’Afric Senegal Construction.
