Born in 1971 in the Biga district of Çanakkale, Murat Doğan completed his primary and secondary education in Biga. In 1987, together with his brothers, he laid the foundations of the company now operating under the name Doğanlar Furniture Group Manufacturing Industry and Trade Inc.; in 1988, he entered the industrial sector by establishing furniture and decoration production facilities.

Murat Doğan serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Doğanlar Holding, Doğyap Construction, and D’Afric Senegal Construction. He is married and has one child.
